The toolbox is available in three editions: Professional, Academic, and CubeSat. The Pro Edition provides comprehensive software and extensive examples for designing any spacecraft control system, anywhere in the solar system. The Academic Edition is a subset of the Pro software that is intended for undergraduate and graduate-level attitude control system design and analysis. The CubeSat Toolbox is our entry-level product that has been specially designed for CubeSat teams.
Our Add-on modules require the Professional Edition. Add-on modules are available for formation flying, launch vehicles, optical navigation, solar sails, and spin-axis attitude determination.
Our comparison table flyer, attached, provides more detail on what features are available in each edition. Our online API provides the detailed contents of each module. The CubeSat Toolbox contains a special collection of gravity and thermal models that are therefore also included with Academic, but these editions do not contain full orbit mechanics or interplanetary demos. The table below shows which modules are included with each edition.
